My fiancé and I really want to have a nighttime wedding, but I’ve heard that will spell disaster for our pictures. What do you think we should do?
Go for it! While photographers generally prefer natural light to artificial light for the photographs, you should always do what makes you happy. At CineCrown we come equipped to handle any lighting situation and have years of experience with many different venues and circumstances, including nighttime weddings. Because you never have to worry about your images not coming out nicely, go ahead and have your dream wedding and leave the details to us!
I know it’s best to take formal photographs before the wedding, but I guess you could say we are old-fashioned. Why do you think taking the formals beforehand is so important?
Here at CineCrown, we definitely pride ourselves in catering to the needs and desires of our clients. That said, we are believers in taking the formal photographs before the wedding, ensuring not only more time to get the best photographs but also getting the formals out of the way by the time you are ready to go to your party. We find that stress levels with brides, grooms, family members and wedding parties is greatly reduced when the formals are taken care of and they can focus on just having fun and being with their guests. Also, depending on the time of day, we may have better light and access to better portrait locations before the ceremony.
We’d love to set aside some time for an engagement shoot. Is this something you do?

Do I need a wedding album? Do you offer it?
We know the importance of a wedding album, which is a culmination of all the wonderful memories of the day presented in a beautiful book that tells the story for a lifetime, so we include an album to each photography collection that you book from CineCrown. Because the wedding album process can be a little challenging for busy couples, we provide full album services from image selection to design to cover selection, and more. Choosing from our main album line of gorgeous leather bound books constructed from only the best quality materials and workmanship, we fashioned a professionally designed keepsake complete with slip cover and protective box for decades of enjoyment. And since our signature line is also guaranteed for life against wear and tear, customers never have to worry about their precious memories falling into disrepair.
Should you have a "First Look" Session?
It’s a new age, so it’s no longer considered bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding. What’s more, there are actually some pretty big advantages to a first-look session prior to the wedding. Not only are the bride, groom, bridal party and family in top form, the bride and bridesmaids’ hair and makeup are fresh, and the groom and groomsmen are still OK with being in their tuxes.
If you do decide to go with a pre-ceremony formal portrait approach, be sure to set aside 15 minutes of private time for just the two of you. These private moments, before you start taking more formal, posed portraits, are often the most special for the bride and groom. You are able to say a prayer together, or exchange meaningful gifts, relax and think about the moments to come. This quiet, contemplative time also serves as a break to calm your nerves. This healthy pre-ceremony atmosphere created a smooth, steady flow through the day’s events. Getting this step out of the way early in the day frees up the rest of your time to spend with your guests.
A wedding video? Who wants a wedding video? What is the difference between tradtional wedding video and filmmaker?
Traditional wedding videography captures hours of lengthy document footages and no one really wants to watch it after it is done. That is why most brides cut down video because of this stereotype. On the other hand, wedding film from CineCrown has come a long way and is unique to each couple. We understand what a bride needs. For each wedding film we start with a concept, a plan, and a vision. We implement a more personal aproach by getting to know the couple more in order to create a movie-like film that is meaningful, emotional, as well as energetic from beginning to the end. With sound engineer, we are able to capture clear voices including vows and toasts to tell the whole story.
What is the Same Day Edit (SDE)?
The Same Day Edit is edited much like the Highlight Film – creative and artistic. The main difference is that the Same Day Edit (SDE) is produced on-location (we bring along a full-time editor) and shown at your reception just hours after your ceremony is complete. This is a huge crowd favorite. It truly brings your guests into your entire wedding day. We encourage our couples to think of the SDE as an experience, and not just a film.
What is the Document Edit and Extended Document Edit?
Documentary edits is a 45 minutes plus video covers full Wedding Ceremony, Toasts and Speeches. Extended Document Edit covers full range from morning preparation to the last dance depending on the coverage hours and schedule of your wedding day.
What is the Love Story?
The Love Story is a great way for your wedding guests to get to know you as a couple better. We sit down and interview you months before the wedding. We ask fun questions about how you met, what you love about each other, how did the proposal go….stuff like that. The Love Story helps give background to this special day.
